Solar PV Farm Install 12kw, Nantwich
This week Atlantic Renewables completed a 12kw system, which consisted of 48 x 250w Risen Polycrystalline panels and an SMA Tripower Inverter. All 48 panels were mounted on one of the farms many cow barns. On this job we had an issue with scaffolding, due to it being a working farm with live cattle. We couldn't put scaffolding everywhere, so we had to scaffold at the side of the barn and use fall netting under the roof. Once the anchor bolts were in, we used scaff planks along the roof to spread our weight evenly when walking on it. This install only took a total of 2 days to complete, with the anchor bolts and rail being fitted in the first day and the electrics and panels on the second day. The electrics were trailed down the side of the barn and into a plastic conduit, that was buried under a footpath, to a smaller shed on the other side. This was where the inverter was mounted. The Atlantic Renewables team were well organised and efficient on this job and left the customer very pleased and grateful for the free energy they will benefit from.
