Bowdon 3.99kw Solar Pv Install
This week Atlantic Renewables completed a 3.99kw system, which consisted of 14 x 285w monocrystalline LG panels, with a Solar Edge Inverter. The Inverter is paired up to the 14 Solar Edge optimisers that are connected directly to the solar panels. This means each panel will work independently and therefore give the customer the maximum potential from the panels. Atlantic Renewables also installed the zigbee kit, which sits on top of the inverter and communicates via the household wi-fi. The customer is then able to sign in to Solar Edges Portal and view how much their system is generating, along with how much each panel is generating. All 14 panels were mounted on the rear elevation using schletter mounting equipment. A Power Reducer was also installed on the property which automatically diverts any surplus generated energy to the immersion heater without importing it from the grid. It provides free hot water and maximizes the benefits of Solar PV.
