This week Atlantic Renewables completed a 3.9kw system, which consisted of 14 x 285w monocrystalline LG panels. The panels were spread out over four elevations of the bungalow, due to insufficient space on one roof. Each panel was also connected to a Solar Edge optimiser, which will communicate to the Solar Edge inverter that we placed in the property. The inverter will pair up with each of the optimisers, which means each panel works independently and the customer will get the most out of their panels.

With the optional Zigbee kit, that attaches to the inverter and communicates via wi-fi to the household router, the customer is able to log onto Solar edge and track their generation while also viewing each panels maximum output.

Atlantic Renewables also installed a Solic Immersion Diverter, which will divert any unused solar power to the immersion heater before its exported to the national grid. This device is easy to use and install, and requires no plumbing alterations.
