Atlantic Renewables installed a 3.18kw system, which consisted of 12 Jinko 265w Polycrystalline panels. We advised the customer to opt for these panels, beacuse of the built in optimzers in each panel, which will help in power loss from panel to panel. This was due to there being a big chimney in the centre of the roof, which will create shading. This way the customer is still getting the most from their solar panels and generating that much needed electricity. All 12 panels were mounted on the rear elevation, in blocks of six, using schletter mounting equipment. A Solar edge Inverter was used on this system along with a Zigbee Kit. The Zigbee kit enables wireless communication bewteen the Inverter and a Wi-Fi router. The customer is then able to go online and log onto Solar edge, and monitor their generation while also being able to view each panels output.
